About Our Firm

Mr. Anglen began his law practice in Branson, Missouri, in 1991. Since that time, his practice has grown to be known as one of the pre-eminent law offices in the area. The majority of Mr. Anglen's practice is civil and criminal trial work - personal injury, family law (divorce, custody, support, visitation) and collections, felony, DWI and misdemeanor defense, but also includes real estate closings, document preparation, representation before governmental and administrative bodies, and other office practice. Mr. Anglen is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Arkansas and in United States Federal Court. Mr. Anglen has achieved notoriety in his representation of several criminal defendants charged with sexual crimes, having successfully taken several such cases to juries. Mr. Anglen is proficient in Spanish and services a significant Hispanic clientele.

Mr. Anglen has authored several winning briefs in the Missouri Court of Appeals in cases concerning family law, easements, discovery, right to counsel, and jurisdiction of associate circuit judges, and co-authored the Missouri Municipal Judge's handbook on marriages. Mr. Anglen has been elected to 8 consecutive terms as Hollister, Missouri Municipal Judge and has served as an ad hoc member of the board of directors of the Missouri Municipal Judges Association. Mr. Anglen has also served as judge for Merriam Woods, Missouri.

Mr. Anglen is a frequent lecturer at continuing education courses for attorneys and judges. He has also served as adjunct faculty at the College of the Ozarks, teaching law classes in the business school.
